It’s Not Me, It’s My Name is a public installation that separates the individual from the identity imposed by a name. Displayed at monumental scale on a billboard, the name becomes an autonomous presence, detached from the person it signifies. The work challenges the idea that identity can be contained within a name, confronting the distance between the self and the signs used to define it.
