The Cow

2015 – Acrylic Painting, Installation

The Cow is an installation consisting of roughly 1,700 paintings on cardboard. The depiction of a cow commonly found on milk containers is recontextualized into a visual spectacle that explores concepts of individuality and power. Its scale asserts identity within space, challenging viewers to self-reflect on perception and meaning outside anthropocentric frameworks.
