2024 – Interactive Digital Installation

Randomica Polipoda as an interactive digital installation in which a synthetic organism progresses through its life cycle searching for a mate.

The creature creates periodic calls searching for a partner. The viewer can choose to respond. If the response is successful, the creature is visited by a companion and concludes its existence through a mating ritual that culminates in a shared death. If the user fails to respond, the creature continues the cycle of life and dies alone.
